Job Junction Nova Scotia Works hires interns and co-op students year-round, providing an inside look at the field of career development while building their skills and experience working with a diverse group of job seekers and employers in our community.
Here is one of the special students who have brightened our days while also offering daily support to our clients and our entire team:
Meet Santi, Information Resource Specialist
Santiago is an international student from Colombia and a second-year student from Mount Saint Vincent University where he is enrolled in the Business Administration program. He joined the Job Junction Nova Scotia Works team as one of our co-op students for the summer term and was looking forward to learning about the work culture in Nova Scotia.
“Working at Job Junction has been an unforgettable experience,” he said.
“When I first started, I thought it was going to be a job where you would just do some paperwork collected from clients, answer a couple calls, and send some emails. But it turned out to be way more meaningful than that; this is a place where you can see that each one of our team members is willing to help you in the best way as possible.”
